Kogi Gogi BBQ was one of the tastiest Korean BBQ spots I've gone to! After having KBBQ in LA's Koreatown, I've had a hard time enjoying the spots up in the Bay. Until I went to Kogi Gogi! The service was incredibly fast. All the meats arrived quickly and were tender and very flavorful! My favorite would have to be the marinated rib meat and brisket. The prices are also very reasonable! My friends and I mostly ordered from the second to lowest tier, and were more than satisfied. I also like the soft tofu soup! This place is a solid spot for KBBQ in SF. You should try it out!

Kogi Gigi is probably one of the better Korean BBQ spots in the City. The deal they have for the meats with unlimited sides is wear I'm sold. The wait is long on weekends as expected but it's also kbbq so you've been starving yourself all day so might as well wait another hour at most. Service is very fast and they're on point with the needs, you just have to make sure you tell them and don't wait expecting them to know. It's not San Jose KBBQ but it's the best around the city for me. And also... there's salt and straw (ice cream) nearby if you're feeling like an extra piece of shit. I love me some corn cheese and rice cake rolls drenched in like siracha. It's not exactly 5stars kbbq in comparison to where the home base ones (SoCal/SJ) but it's def one of the best in the Bay imo

We got the LA galbi, prime short rib, and American wagyu beef. The galbi had incredible flavor while the prime rib was super juicy and marbled with fat. The wagyu beef was also very tender. We also got two different kinds of tteokbokki and I liked both! The fried tteokbokki had the perfect mouth chew and I liked the crunchier texture while the other tteokbokki was smaller and included fish cake and had a nice chewy texture that reminded me of mochi. Finally we got their bibimbap which had a great balance of ingredients in each bite and was not overloaded with rice! I love that their grills suck the smoke to the side so you aren't breathing it in and you don't leave the restaurant smelling like kbbq. The owner and chef is super passionate about his food and restaurant and makes everything himself. This is a fantastic local spot to support and I'll totally be back!

Food: 5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Overall: My goto AYCE place to come to. The extended review... Food: 5/5 - The meats I defer to are the kalbi, pork jowl, lettuce, and rice paper. I typically have a bowl of bones at the end. If you go for AYCE...don't do the fillers!! Service: 3.5/5 - Service is hit or miss. The meat orders aren't so much a problem but the sides I've found sometimes don't get placed. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - A good set up and you can place jackets in the stools you sit on which will minimize the smell on your clothes.

Came here LITERALLY right before closing... and they still gave us the BEST service. This KBBQ is literally sooo worth it especially for the quality of their food with such a lower price compared to other KBBQs around SF. The ambiance inside literally reminds me of something I'd watch from a Korean drama Nothing too fancy, but the food is really good! They have a promo $28.99 (I think) from mon-thursdays with a choice of specific meat choices & add another $10 for more meat options... For sure worth it!

KG BBQ is located on 9th Avenue in the Inner Sunset just a few blocks from Golden Gate Park. This AYCE has three different menu prices starting with the cheapest M-Thur price of $28.99, Fri-Sun regular $42, and Premium Meat Choice Menu of $62. The wife and I went at 6pm on a Thursday and were promptly seated at a plexi-glass divided table in the rear - perfect for two or three. Banchan was preset around our grill thus our feast was ready to begin immediately. We opted for the cheapest $28.99 menu and a Cass beer to share. Ordering limits are 4 meat platters and 3 other platters at a time. The first order thru the staff and subsequent orders thru a QR Code online menu. We ordered two rounds of meat and other dishes which was plenty for two. Could have gone another round but we wanted to make sure we would comfortably make it to our car parked nearby. Our favorites were: Spicy Pork, Brisket, Pork Belly, and Cheese Corn. Least favorite was the gummy Beef Bulgogi. Meats were of good quality and appropriate for the price. Service was good as grill covers were changed out without us requesting while ordering using the QR code had some hiccups remedied by just telling the staff that something didn't show up. Where's my Beef Brisket, Cheese Corn? Atmosphere wise - excellent ventilation, KPOP music was nice and loud - playing BTS, Black Pink, AESPA, Twice, ITZY, TXT, with TV screens set to NCAA March Madness, chairs that serve as mini lockers for your valuables, and a nice loud crowd with people having a good time. Would I go back? Yes.

Reservations: recommend on weekends Parking: hard esp on weekends Service: nice and quick Ambiance: causal and loud Cons: 90-100min time limit and they don't tell you it's your last call. They just hand you the bill after your time has been up. So just keep this in mind and keep track of your time! $42 and $62 menu options, higher was has premium meats I thought the $42 menu was pretty good already tho! It has all the sides included like steamed egg, tofu soup, fries, corn cheese, japchae, and more! As for the meats, everything was pretty good! But my favorites were the brisket, pork jowl, intestines, and beef rib finger meat!
